MacRimiandClaude Opus 5 da8a480eff Add audit and reports page, and a change journal
ProxMenux modifies the host: it rewrites configuration files, installs packages, enables services. Until now nobody could say afterwards what had changed, and showing the script does not answer that question — a four-hundred-line function may alter two values, and the reader has no way to know which two. This adds the two halves of an answer.

The change journal records what ProxMenux does as it does it. Eleven bash primitives capture the previous state, apply the change and record it in the same step, writing to a spool that the Monitor reads back. One hundred and thirteen functions across twenty-five scripts are instrumented, covering post-install, shared storage, security tooling, container conversions, disk operations and the PVE 8 to 9 upgrade path. The page shows the difference — rotate 7 becoming rotate 14 — and never the script. Restore and backup scripts are deliberately left out: a restore puts the host back to a state some other script already recorded.

The Audit and reports page answers the other half: what state is this host in, regardless of who put it there. Forty-three checks across seven areas read the host and classify each result as critical, warning, observation, conformant, unverified or not applicable, with the evidence they read attached to each one. A declared policy lets the reader say what this particular host is expected to do — which guests must have a backup, which storages are essential — so the report judges the host against its own intent rather than a generic template. An inventory records the hardware, network and guest topology behind those readings, a comparison shows what moved between two runs, and six report profiles produce a printable document scoped to what the reader needs. Everything is available in the eight supported languages.

MacRimi c2a6db38a8 improve update notifications and add apt-listchanges channel
- add an apt-listchanges notification event that surfaces package-maintainer NEWS forwarded through the PVE mail queue, with its own template, emoji and per-locale label
- emit a single post_install_update event when a tool exposes a newer version, and persist per-tool notified versions on disk so a Monitor restart no longer re-fires the same update announcement
- force AI enrichment to formatting-only on availability notices (update_available / pve_update / proxmenux_update / post_install_update / apt_listchanges / lxc_updates_available / secure_gateway_update_available / nvidia_driver_update_available / coral_driver_update_available / app_update_available / docker_stack_update_available / update_summary) so translations never turn factual inventories into advice
- add the apt_listchanges channel label to Monitor UI strings across the eight locales

MacRimi fcfe8da765 refine post-install and hardware GPU docs, Monitor UX and CLI styling
- rewrite the 15 post-install pages and the 3 hardware GPU pages so they reflect the current scripts (reversibility, tracked-tool counts, kernel parameters, per-tool commands, Alpine LXC propagation flow)
- migrate the legacy step-badge helper on post-install/optional and create-vm/synology to the canonical pill component, with the stepLabel key added in each locale
- fix rich-text i18n calls missing helpers across network, automated, optional, security, customization and the post-install landing pages, and escape the `<iface>` placeholder in automated so intl no longer parses it as a tag
- remove the mouse-follow blue overlay from the docs landing layout
- reposition the App-tab Edit button and stack the Search and Register controls vertically on mobile
- move the Bulk update Configure/Edit control into the section header so it behaves the same on desktop and mobile
- show a spinner during the final autoremove/autoclean pass of update-pve-safe so the cleanup step reads as active instead of silent
- restyle the shell spinner and msg_info in a distinctive purple and drop the unused msg_lang duplicate
- add a web-docs i18n build script and its CI workflow, plus tests for the pushover notification channel

MacRimi 037421d762 Instant VM/LXC modals via bulk hydration + server prewarmer
Backend keeps every guest's modal payload (details, backups, apps, schedule, mount points) warm in-memory and exposes them through a single `/api/vms/modal-cache-all` endpoint. The dashboard hydrates its entire modal cache from that one request on page load, so opening any guest — first click or after coming back later — renders instantly. Replaces ~84 per-guest fetches with 1.

MacRimiandClaude Opus 4.7 73389d842a Reset auth_fail cooldowns on NotificationManager.start()
Pedro Rico, 19/05: after reinstalling the Monitor from GitHub a real
SSH/web login failure went unnotified. Root cause was the auth_fail
cooldown surviving across the service restart — install_proxmenux_beta
extracts the new AppImage but leaves the notification_last_sent SQLite
table intact (desirable: we don't want to lose legitimate cooldowns
on every update). On startup `_load_cooldowns_from_db()` then loaded
the stale auth_fail row from the previous run into the in-memory
cache, and `_passes_cooldown` blocked the new event.

This extends the existing reset-on-start mechanism (already in place
for update_summary, proxmenux_update, post_install_update, …) to also
clear auth_fail rows. A security-relevant event shouldn't be silenced
because the same source IP happened to fail to log in yesterday.

- Rename `_UPDATE_EVENT_TYPES_RESET_ON_START` → `_EVENT_TYPES_RESET_ON_START`
(the list no longer covers only update-status reports).
- Rename `_reset_update_cooldowns_on_start()` → `_reset_cooldowns_on_start()`
  for the same reason.
- Add `'auth_fail'` to the curated list.

High-frequency sources (log_critical_*, disk SMART errors, …) are
deliberately NOT on this list — they keep their 24h cooldown across
restarts to prevent inbox floods if the user toggles the service.

MacRimiandClaude Opus 4.7 4e26c5942f Reset update-type cooldowns on NotificationManager.start()
When the user reinstalls or restarts the Monitor (deploy of a new
beta AppImage), they expect to see a fresh "what's available now"
summary in Telegram/Gotify/etc. instead of silence — even if the
24h anti-spam cooldown for `update_summary` etc. hasn't expired yet.

Without this, the operator had to wait up to 24h after every
deploy before the next `update_summary`, `proxmenux_update`,
`post_install_update`, `pve_update`, `update_available`,
`nvidia_driver_update_available` or `secure_gateway_update_available`
notification fired. The 24h cooldown is the right default for steady
state (don't pester the user every poll cycle with the same "177
packages pending" reminder), but a service restart is an explicit
signal that the user wants a fresh status report.

- New _UPDATE_EVENT_TYPES_RESET_ON_START tuple lists the event types
to clear (everything in the "*_update*" + "update_*" family).
- New _reset_update_cooldowns_on_start() runs at start() right after
the running flag flips, before watchers/dispatcher come up.
- Patterns match both fingerprint shapes:
    "<host>:<entity>:<event_type>:" trailing-colon form
    "<host>:<entity>:<event_type>" no-suffix form (managed installs)
- In-memory `_cooldowns` cache is also pruned so the live dispatcher
picks up the reset immediately, without waiting for the next
  `_load_cooldowns_from_db()` cycle.

Non-update cooldowns (auth_fail, log_critical_*, disk errors, …) are
preserved so a restart doesn't unleash a backlog of stale alerts.

MacRimiandClaude Opus 4.7 06e6ae417e Fix notification dispatch: NameError in _dispatch_to_channels (Quiet Hours)
`_dispatch_to_channels` does NOT receive the NotificationEvent object —
only the rendered primitives (title, body, severity, event_type, …).
The Quiet Hours + Daily Digest merge introduced two references to
`event.severity` / `event` inside this function, which raised
`NameError: name 'event' is not defined` for every event passing
through dispatch.

The dispatch loop swallows the exception with a broad `except`, so the
visible symptom was "the Test button works but no real event ever
arrives" — both for community beta users (multiple reports on
Telegram, 9-18 May) and verified live on a test host (id 905 in
notification_history confirms the pipeline post-fix).

- _dispatch_to_channels: read `severity` / `event_type` directly
  instead of `event.severity` / `event.event_type`.
- _should_buffer_for_digest: take (ch_name, severity, event_type)
  primitives instead of a NotificationEvent.
- _buffer_digest_event: same — take (ch_name, event_type,
  event_group, severity, title, body).
